Hated his online class. His audio lectures were nice to listen to, but were extremely long and didn't offer a great deal of actual info. Pretty harsh marker too, his criticism is constructive, but he docks you a lot of marks if you don't share his opinion. Wish I could have taken his class in person. Wouldn't recommend for online courses.

Great help. I really couldn't get over how straight forward he was when marking. His lectures are organized and clear. Loved taking this class. The history class I took was online, and he made it worthwhile. Great professor!

Do not pay attention to any of the positive reviews made for this teacher - he is rubbish. His online HIST-1100 was the only course that would fit into my schedule - if you find yourself in a similar situation, just wait until you can take the course with a decent professor. If you take any of his courses, I assure you, you'll regret it deeply.

.I took his online Hitler State class and found that it was formatted really well. He gives weekly assignments which he marks fairly but criticizes you for your opinions. Very strict about discussion groups, hard to get a good mark in that part. Thinks he?s smarter than god. Good course though, covers some interesting material. Recommended.

He is very good. If you care about it, he will make you a better essay writer. His marking is very fair as well. His voice is very theatrical, like you are listening to the history channel. Recommend!

Raffo likes his own voice. He attempts to speak eloquently, but it becomes repetitive and boring after 5 minutes. There is no discussion, only listen and regurgitate. There is no room for critical analysis or personal opinion. What he says is the way it is. Don't suggest otherwise, or your mark will reflect his contempt for other's opinions.

What can I say? Raffo loves his own opinions (his point of view that England rules everything doesn't waver!) and is supicious of cheating, other opinions, and is a really brutal marker on exams. Your English had better be impeccable! Plus, he won't cut anyone ANY slack, so don't ask.
