If you read the material and go to class you wouldn't even have to study to pass his exams. His assignments are a bit vague, but that's theory for you, if you need help though he'll answer questions, but he's an easy marker so there's no need to stress. Interesting stuff is covered, but he is quiet in lecture so its easy for your mind to wander

Sooooo boring. He has no animation when he talks, and everyone just watches the clock in class. I stopped going and still maintained a B. Nothing is specific enough for him when you write long answers on the exams, although his exams and assignments are super easy. Nice guy but I would not recommend him. Sucks the life out of the class.

For a topic he is supposedly passionate about, I'd really like him to show his passion. Writing notes on the board is hard to follow. Really monotone and boring. Needs to loosen up.

Really knows what he's at when it comes to the material. Not so much monotonous but quiet in my opinion, but if you really pay attention it isn't so bad. Tests are fairly easy as well as assignments but he asks for diagrams or pictures to go along with them which I found annoying and arbitrary.

So helpful. Responds well to questions, gets great guest speakers. The exams are really easy a few true/false and then you get A LOT of choice for the short answer, long answer and essay questions. He's really great if you listen to him, not super strict at all, but his writing is really messy but he doesn't mind if you ask to clarify!

Good prof. Nice guy and very intelligent. He talks about examples and shows pictures to make course more interesting. He is hard to listen to (very monotone and material is dull) and is very slow getting through the chapters. Often gives out entire chapter's notes the day before a test as he didn't get to it in class.

It's not his fault the material for this course is incredibly boring - it's a 1styear course and they all teach the same stuff. He's really quite sharp and very helpful. I imagine any other, higer-level course with him would be very interesting.
