He teach very basic things. Nothing that you can't learn on your own. I was expecting more from him and the course. System in class are outdated. Take different teacher or go to different school.

He was so boring that I fell asleep in his class. For a class that is suppose to be a level two he didn't teach anything new. Didn't teach how to build anything that we could use in the real world just basic stuff. Didn't even give us a chance to rate him or the material at the end of the course. His class and program are a total disappointment.

The PHP class was basic stuff you can learn on your own. He has a temper and gets easily overwhelmed. The class was a disorganized mess and he uses his own website which looks like it was made in 1995. Project are poorly explained. Don't pay money for this class it's pointless and it will take you nowhere.

I have mixed feelings. The instructor is amusing and engaging, but the class time is all lecture and the grading can be a little slow sometimes. The assignments are created as you go along, so no working ahead. Having us work on the final project along the way, would have been better. Plus a 2.5 hour lecture 2x a week gets pretty painful.

I would have to say that this was probably the worst professor I have taken in my life. He would spend more time talking about things not even pertaining to his curriculum than we did doing useful work. Takes forever to grade anything. His jokes should embarrass him being that he is in his forties. Too many World of Warcraft references. Do not take

I have to say, prior to taking this class, I was very excited to start learning HTML5/CSS3. Three days in I regretted it. This man is kind & smart but does not belong in academia. He clearly knows what he is talking about, but has no idea how to express it in a way that is useful. Don't buy book if you must take this class. Avoid if possible.

CIS166AE - Web Script w PHP- Good teacher, very knowledgable about subj. Came w lil HTML knwldge and a fair amt of prog exp (C++,vhdl,assmbly). My prev prog exp hlped a lot to learn PHP. Some prog concepts were not covered in detail, which may've been helpful. Doable, but takes time to 'get' programming, so ask ?s and come prep to work hard

Very good at teaching, friendly, and very helpful. He seems to get a little frustrated with his students at times, so it made it a little awkward asking for help a lot in class, and he also doesn't grade anything until the very end of class, so you're not really sure what your grade is until the very end. Otherwise, very good.

Takes a more hands-on approach than by the book. Which is good when it comes to programming. Clear, informative and understands the subject well. Can be a challenge if you're not familiar with programming, but is willing to help. Cares about his students.

I've taken CIS 133 and 233 (grades B & C). I am an average student, so that was all my doing. He is very easy. I have a fear of 8-week classes, but its simple to take his 8-week 133 class, then take his 233 right after. Seemless transition. If you know a little bit of HTML before hand, no reason you can't breeze these classes.

I've taken 4 classes with him (JavaScript, PhP, Linux, and HTML), and keep coming back. Relatively loose on due dates, but procrastination will kill you when coding. He is the stereotypical techie. Will reply to email at 3AM, and somehow is wide awake for the 9am classes. Does procrastinate some on grading, but assignments won't work if wrong.
