Philip is very distinguised and proper. He is kind and enjoys music. He is soft spoken and funny. The class is not to hard as long as you take the time to go and listen to the music on reserve. This class has given me an appreciation for music I would not normally listen too. (He's a little hard on pop or new music.)

Phillip laughs at little details of life and shares them in his quiet way with you. He helps you to appreciate music and encourages your creative side. He is just great to have as a teacher at 8:30 in the morning because he gets you involved.
