His lectures are very funny and casual, he enjoys interactive class discussions. He gives pop quizzes but they're easy if you do the reading, they're really just to prove that you read. Getting an A is hard but you can get an A- on the papers if you follow his instructions and get his feedback, which he gives on first drafts.

Absolutely amazing professor, really nice guy who genuinely wants you to do well. 65% of your grade is papers, and he gives some pop quizzes on the readings but its a very manageable class.

Dr. LeMorvan was a really great professor. I personally found the topic interesting, but he made it very easy to learn. We went over every single homework problem in class, so you'll always know if you're on the right track and if you need to go in for office hours. Funny man, definitely recommend.

Professor Le Morvan is one of the best professors I've ever had. The subject (logic) is tough and a lot of people struggled but he is dedicated to making sure everyone learns the subject and has the opportunity to do well. He manages to teach the class in a gradual, open way without sacrificing rigor.

Professor L is awesome! He tries to make a dry subject interesting by adding witty comments and jokes. He was always available if you had questions. Assigned readings and homework before each class, but was short and straightforward. Gives pop quizzes, but if you did the homework you should be fine. Exams were easy if you practiced the material.

His office hours are extremely helpful. He is a great guy and very funny. I would definitely take another class with him.

Professor LeMorvan is a wonderful professor. He is so passionate about the subject and takes the time to make sure all students truly grasp the concepts. He's also awkwardly hilarious at times. Expect very difficult papers, which will be graded toughly. He does give a full cover page of feedback for drafts, which is great. Highly recommended.

I hope to be as good of a teacher as him. He is a captivating speaker, funny, an extremely fair grader, and gives valuable feedback. He allows students to hand in drafts and encourages them to consult with him on papers. He is also hysterical, I always looked forward to class. Watch out for the reading quizzes. They brought my grade way down.

Great Professor! Easy to follow along with, goes into all topics in detail, and very helpful. He grades hard but he is fair. He provides a lot of feed back on papers so that you are able to fix those errors in your next one and then he drops the lowest grade. You learn a lot and enjoy doing it. Highly recommend taking a class with him.

Dr. Le Morvan is the best professor I have ever had. His unique sense of humor flawlessly complements his teaching style. His class is structured in such a way so that by the end of the lesson, everyone feels like an expert on the subject. He is a brilliant man, but more importantly, he is invested in his students. He is a refreshing professor. A+.

I personally didn't "click" with Dr. LeMorvan; I far prefer Dr. Taylor and Dr. Sisko as teachers. Students vary, though; one of my good friends loves Dr. LeMorvan and prefers him to all other PHL profs. I recommend you sit in on a class of his and listen to what your gut tells you.
