Professor Vickrey is a very sweet lady who cares a lot about ALL of her students, even if she hasn't meet them. Especially her distance learners. I missed orientation and got dropped from her class, but when I told her about my situation via email, she made an appointment to make it up and got me right back in. She is a great teacher.

Since this is online, there's not much to say regarding the professor herself. But if you need help or assistance, she is there and almost always has a wonderful smile on her face. She has a great sense of humor and the class as a whole has been one of the more favorable ways of learning math in my entire life. Trust me, you will really like ALEKS!

I joined the class 2 weeks after the semester started and completed 2 weeks before the end of the semester. To score well you need to put in the time and effort. I settled for 70% only b/c I had other finals and classes to pass. If you don't pass you can file for incompleted and take during the next semester so you are given chances to pass :)

ALEKS online course, she set up a message board and encouraged everyone to chime in. She also consistently encouraged people to come in if they needed help and assured people to keep at it and persevere. I never came in, but I assume she would be very helpful. I like that you can take the test as many times as you like to try to get a higher grade.

So happy I took the hybrid class instead of a regular math class. Aleks program is excellent. Math lab ladies are very helpful. Teacher was very nice and willing to answer questions in person and by email. Quick to respond. Recommend the teacher and hybrid math!!

I used the online Aleks course for three semesters. I passed all the classes. It was easy at first then it got a little difficult and I went into the math lab and the ladies were all very helpful and I passed. I would recommend this class to everyone.

I took Math BA and BD using the ALEKS program. The Aleks program is pretty clear, but some topics I just couldn't understand on my own. If you struggle with math, go to the math lab to get help. The tutors there are awesome. I never would have passed without Carol's help.

I really like Mrs. Vickrey. She is the most understanding person BC has to offer. I have several math barriers that have kept me from completing my math requirements. Although I'm not attending BC at this time, she is always there to hear her students out. I still stop in to see her every now and then. I wish more Professors were like her.

this is a hybrid class. math lab and at home online thru aleks program. never saw vickrey as she is just the supervisor of the program. you teach yourself thru the program and if you stick to your hours you will learn. best math experience i ever had. only wish there were more than 3 classes with aleks.

not grading vickrey actually. i am grading the math lab and the aleks online program. aleks is excellent and i have learned more from this program than any teacher. the math lab always has tutors available for that extra one on one help. highly recommend this just be well self disciplined to make yourself put in hours to do your work either at hom

alex class is semi-easy, but vickery is uncooperative about accomdations for people with learning disabilities it required a note from the dean to force her to follow the law on this issue. very disappointing.
