the professor is very sweet and does try to help students. but he is a very very tough marker!! he's notes and what the text book says are completely opposite. he is not very clear as to what you should expect in the exam. he puts questions on material you haven't even covered yet.

Fairly disorganized and lectures often take forever, then come rushing to a crammed 5 minute finish at the end of class. Marks quite fairly and gives warning about what will be on test materials. Assignments were straightforward and easy. overall, not bad. pleasant in person, very passionate about economic topics and issues.

awful. all over the place. marks hard. unclear expectations. i'm a math/econ double major and only got c+. $230 textbook, hardly made any reference to it. stay away!!! even at end of term had the nerve to ask as to send a thank you letter to the dean.

This professor is quite hard to understand. He is the most unorganized prof I've ever had. He'll focus on diagrams for like a half hour doing tonnes of examples and then none of them will show up on a test. To say the least this guy is frustrating! Try to avoid if possible!

Comment:

Arguably, the most unorganized professor you will ever encounter at your enjoyable stay at the university. However, Raj has mediocure notes online, and prides himself in helping dedicated students in the course. I found the overall course to be easy, and would recommend it to others. With or without Dr. Raj. I got an A+ so study!! It's possible.

This guy is the worst teacher I ever had. I will still finish with an A in the class, but I had to teach it all to myself. Not a hard class, but this guy is useless. I gave him a high helpfullness rating because he took his own time to have an extra class on a Saturday before exams.
