Is not helpful at all. He tests us over his own opinions and over random things he has said. I believe at one point he was a smart man, but he is lost his own thoughts. I have left crying 3 different times. I am a dean's list student and fear that this class will change that this semester.

He is a very nice guy but he is very hard to follow. He is very unstructured in class and tests over random things he tells you. I learned a lot but not without the help of tissues and a lot of ibuprofen. If you are someone who does not like to speak infront of the class this class is not for you, he enjoys putting people on the spot.

If you put effort and time into the class you will be just fine. Dr. Scott pushes you to form an opinion about a variety of issues in education. If you pay attention and try you will be amazed at what you will take away from this class.

This class rocks. Prof Scott isn't easy, but he makes you think a lot and makes sure to challenge your current beliefs about a lot of issues. I recommend any of his classes!!!
