Professor Davy is very good at his job. He is super sweet and does a great job at making sure students understand the content. He also provides homework and memorization sheets that help tremendously on the quizzes and tests. I struggled in his class only because I took it as an hour and a half lecture at 8:15 am. But Professor Davy is great.

Best gen chem prof period! The memorization sheets have everything you need to know- I'm keeping them for reference. He makes everything easy and understandable. I took him for advanced gen chem, but had an easier class than the regular chem because he taught so much more effectively. Go to office hours if you're ever confused- he loves to help.

I love Dr. Davy! He is incredibly helpful and obviously intelligent. He wants his students to succeed and explains things in a way that is understandable. He also provides memorization sheets for each chapter for each exam. If you study and understand these sheets, you should do great on the exams!

Dr. Davy's lectures are very simple and not too overwhelming. His homework was almost always completely different than the quizzes, but pretty much everything else about the class was quite easy if you pay attention and use his memorization sheets. He is also a pretty funny professor. He plays music before class and had "commercials" during class.

Professor Davy is fantastic. He makes chemistry interesting with his "commercials," music before class, and illustrations to simplify topics. He is a great professor, but more importantly he cares about his students. I had a personal struggle that I wanted to talk with him about, and he gave me 45 minutes of his time to help me. Very impactful!

Dr. Davy is the best chemistry professor I ever have ! He teaches an awesome lecture, and doesn't give students lots of homework. He's also pretty funny in the class. I would 100% choose his class again if I have a chance.

Dr. Davy is an awesome guy and he really loves his students. The is pretty test heavy but it is very manageable. The tests somewhat difficult but you can pass with a good grade if you put in the work and learn the material. Dr. Davy's dry sense of humor makes class enjoyable.

Dr. Davy is the best teacher I have ever had. He is incredibly kind, smart, and he really loves what he teaches. He is easy to talk to and loves it when students go to his office hours for help. If possible get him as your lab prof as well, he does a great job with explaining and will help you through a question if you are lost. He's incredible.

Absolutely loved Dr. Davy. He's extremely knowledge of the information. He explains the material well and is willing to explain it further if you do not understand at first. He makes it clear what he expects you to know on the tests. He has an open door policy to his office to ask him further questions outside of class.

Davy did an excellent job of explaining difficult topics. He was available and willing to answer questions for his students. In his lab, we had around 20 points of extra credit during the semester which 20% of a letter grade. Davy's personality may seem pretty bland at first, but he is a really funny guy.

Dr. Davy is the best CHEM 122 prof to have. He keeps you engaged in the lectures with hilarious and applicable anecdotes from his past. The tests are difficult if you don't study. If you skip class, you will most certainly fail, but if you attend class and pay attention, you will have and A.

Very willing to help, and master communicator. My 1 complaint: Mastering Chemistry. He assigns A LOT more than most professors which can be frustrating, but seriously, if you have any problems at all, he is there to help you. Great guy. Chem sucks, but Davy is great. Avoid Richardson at all cost. Seriously, don't do it. Took her for 121, not good.

If you take chemistry from anybody other than him you are at a loss. He's awesome at making his lectures interesting and revolutionary at simplifying concepts. The only thing that will be a struggle for you is the online homework "Mastering Chemistry" which can be a drag if you start late! My recommendation: find a buddy to do homework with.
