Hope you know your Java programming. This course is actually very interesting - you can see real-world applications in the course content. The tests are difficult, but actually TEST you on what you should know - MAKE SURE TO DO ALL THE OPTIONAL ASSIGNMENTS. Start the project early - don't wait.

Fun CS courses! The material is interesting, if only we can have more courses in related stuff. Randy is fun too, he throws away a lot of jokes and stories, which very rarely happen in any other CS courses here. Kinda understand how he won't let you appeal though, too many people ask for more marks.

Randy is great. Introduces humour and industry experience into his lectures, and holds students up to a high standard. Explains things clearly. One complaint: Not allowing appeal of subjective marks (frustrating when you don't know why you lost marks)
