He's an interesting character he's really dedicated to the class! He loves poetry/drama exams aren't hard based on notes make sure to take notes when he says so easy to pass read book or just skim on sparknotes usually fill in the blank exam with word bank sweet guy just don't walk in late too many times and you can have small talk to connect

One of my favorites at spu! I took poetry&drama and fiction with him and learned a lot. He is interesting, but it helps if people participate in class. We read the "Decameron" in fiction and it was cool short stories. Oedipus, Hamlet, and various poems in poetry&drama. (But I'm not sure if he teaches these every semester). I would take these again.

He is an amazing professor, and passion about his work. Does not want the students to go to class and do the work, but wants them to participate and engage in discussions (that might get you a good grade). Makes the class fun and lively. Does not give or believe in extra credit. Tests and quizzes are really easy as long as you do the readings.

He chooses good books to read BUT BE READY TO READ. Easy going guy for tests and all. Other than that very understanding. If you don't read then you really are dead bate for exams. Other than that theres only one presentation and his lectures are super boring and long.

Love this guy! Super sweet, and very thorough! He assigns a lot of reading, but you're guaranteed an A if you read! I loved his lectures. He always tried to keep the class interesting. Actually cares about his students, and will do everything he can to make sure you understand the material! I recommend taking his class!

Conlon is amazing. He really is THEE man. He's hilarious, I've taken a few classes of his. He makes the class fun and interesting. He is a bit unorganized with his thoughts. He is inctedibly lenient, does not care if you're late or you miss, or if you hand in papers late. He's an incredibly easy grader too. Definitely take any class with him

He is a great professor and has a great sense of humor. His reading assignment is very minimal and his test & exams are very easy as long as you pay attention to his lecture. The only big assignment was a 6-page paper which you only need to answer 3 questions (2 page each). Loved his class!! Take him!!!

His personality was spunky and entertaining not to mention educational. He makes reading poetry easy and explains it with ease and clearly for those who do not grasp the concept of poetry. All you need to do is listen and take down notes for an easy grade. Also he enjoys feedback and encourages participation. Overall he's a gread professor!
