Awesome teacher, one of my favorites of all time. People don't like him because he asks so much from the class, which is true. I spent more time doing math for his class than I could have ever imagined, but in the end it was totally worth it. Definitely recommend.

For this class, we have lot of homework, webworks, and 4 tests. He gives out pretests to study for the tests. There a lot of missing materials and given wrong answers. I would not recommend him.

This is the worst teacher that I ever have for calculus. He is not understanding teacher and not very friendly. I don't appreciate when he speak in Spanish and Italian as he explain math during lecture class. Not everyone will understand him and it very confusing. His office hours are not helpful at all. Never worked this hard for a B in my life. GO TO OFFICE HOURS. He is incredibly helpful and a great teacher but be ready to work hard. Very interesting guy with funny stories.

I had taken IB HL Math(which is kinda like AP Calc, but harder) last year in high School. I got C's and D's on every test, but one. But then this year, It just all came together and I barely practiced any of the problems. Very good teacher.

Great teacher!!! I took calc in high school in 2002 and didn't remember most of it. I took Dr. Shen's calc class in spring '08 and wanted to cry, I stopped going half way through. I was scared going this semester but I totally understood everything. He tough about silly mistakes though so don't make them. He's entertaining too. Even at 8:00 am.

Greatest math teacher EVER. has somewhat difficult tests, but if you put in the work to learn it, you will do fine. No, you definantly don't need to do "2 hours of calculus a day" to pass..but maybe if you want an A. Nice curve at end of semester; makes coming to class enjoyable. Office hours help tremendously. Also interesting guy to just talk to.

The guy is great. He will teach you stuff that will be helpful in the future. Yeah, his class is a little tough, but if you do all the assigned hw, you'll pass with a B. Plus, I hear the other calc 2 professors are not so great...but menegus definetly is. Fact of the matter is HE KNOWS HOW TO TEACH.

This Calc II class is a hard class in general, so he seems like a hard professor. Only one who teaches all his classes with no TA. Gives you all different techniques and has a slight slight curve. Those who say he is bad are probably just incompetent or not engineers. This is an engineering class...so its hard with or without him as a professor.

Great teacher, this year he was the only professor who taught the full M-Th and did a great job. He makes a boring subject more interesting, and will give it to you in a way you can understand. Tests are tough because each problem is different from the next, just ask for help. He is wacky but an awesome teacher.

Menegus is by far the hardest Calc 3 teacher you will ever come accross, but if you're willing to put in the work you can pass. You will probably not get an A unless you are just brilliant, but you will pass. I have never studied so hard in my life to earn a C. He is a good teacher though and is willing to help his students, you can't BS this class

Menegus is whack and his teaching stlye is ridiculous. This class doesn't involve any normal math just random concepts and theories that he likes and then he gives his philosophical view and tries to convince you. Topics covered range from prime numbers to quantum physics. Midterm and a final and 2 papers and a bunch of difficult assignments. Avoid
