Incredible prof! He really puts his heart and soul into what he's doing and it shows. His attitude makes class easy to go to and very enjoyable. The only reason I've ever skipped is because it's an 830 class. You don't have to go to every class, but it definitely helps. deadlines are left open as long as he can. he just wants to see you succeed :)

Raymond is amazing! He is not just a great actor but also a great teacher, he loves what he does and is important for him to see theatre as a path of life, classes are highly interactive and he is very accesible to give feedback. I highly recommend to take class with this prof!

Raymon is absolutely out there. You have to go to class ready to do anything and be open to new ideas, but it is worth it. He seems very spiritual about drama, and he is able to really explore what it means to act. You have to do journals after every class, but they don't have to be formally written. I had a ton of fun in this class.

Raymon is incredibly inspirational. What I like best about him is that his approach and school of thought are completely different from other instructors I have had before. I would recommend him if you're really serious about theatre. He's pretty strange and unorthodox but he has a near-spiritual approach to theatre that is refreshingly unique.

Raymon is brilliant, though a little unorthodox. It was difficult to see the meaning behind all the bizarre work we did throughout the semester, but looking back, I know I learned a ton. I really enjoyed this class; however, he makes you do journals for every single class throughout the semester, which ended up being a lot of written work.

Raymon is a very knowledgable, experienced actor, and you can tell. You need to have an open mind with this class; don't come expecting to do drama games like in high school - this class is about getting in touch with yourself and exploring your own body's limits. It may take awhile to understand his approach (very spiritual), but it's worth it. :)

No notes, nothing online from him, only reading the book near the end of the course. Each class is different and unique. Took a while to see the POINT to his exercises. By the end of the class/after reading the novel it all makes sense though! He's so creative/artistic & loves what he does. Final exam is essay questions you can prep.

A very artistic person who is interested in theatre and morals. Much of the semester focused on the same thing, which was useful, but could have been limited to one or two weeks. amount of work was minimum, but did not get much insight into world of acting

One must approach this class with a very open mind. While his classes may seem bizarre, they always have a solid point behind them. He won't give first years amazing grades (not his choice), but he does challenge students to step out of the typical and think in a different way. Not an easy class, but I think it was worthwhile.

When I first entered his class everyone was confused. He is not what you would call a 'standard' professor. You may not understand his style at first, but it will all become clear. If you are open to letting go of previous conventions, accepting child-like activities, & are looking for a captivating way to learn Drama then please do take his class!

I have taken Raymon's drama classes (118 and 119) for my first year of Drama studies and he is phenomenal. Although he isn't for everyone, he really manages to get you into the class and thinking his way. A fun, enjoyable man who has a fun, enjoyable class. Highly recommended.

The worst drama prof in the history of the world. I changed majors after dealing with him. The mere thought of him teaching hopeful drama majors makes me sick to my stomach.

Not sure how I feel about his teaching yet. Sure things he taught were eye opening and completely awe inspiering, but some of the stuff was absolutely useless. Real crazy guy and has a lot of uncommon ideals and whatnot. Would recommend for first year classes, especially 116.

You MUST approach this class with an open mind. If you are cynical about the class you will not enjoy it. At first I was a little weary...don't let the first class scare you off, eventually you will feel comfortable. Wonderful class, wonderful prof!!!

Takes off two percent each class you misss. Believe me, even though he doesn't know your name at first, he takes those marks off by the end! Aside from that, he's a good and unconventional prof. The course textbook is really good. He's a good person.
