It is amazing that he even walks amongst we mere mortals. The man is an American history database. He uses no notes and doesn't teach from a book, it is all in his head and he recalls it coherently and with the greatest of ease.

Great Teacher! Dr. Champagne is an awesome teacher!...He basically tells you what's on the tests if you just pay attention in class...there are no surprises. If you study your notes then you will do good,its as simple as that! Those who say he's tough, you go to the U of S, a tough school (a top 10 ranked school), DEAL WITH IT!!

This guy is not at all what you people say he is. He whispers when he talks, you can barely understand him if you sit in the back. His tests are really hard, matching names is ridiculous. I would not reccomend him, I would prefer Diane Stango. She is not only a good professor, but very kind and cares how her students are doing in class alot.

A really nice guy, and entertaining, but way too difficult for a basic 100 level history course. Tests are insane, I averaged about 7 pages of notes a day, so needless to say, it adds up. Need to study extremely hard for tests

This guy really knows his stuff. Loves to crack jokes and hates New Jersey. Class isn't hard, basically just 50 minutes of lecture but if you take down most of what he says in your notes and do the reading he assigns you'll breeze through.

The best story teller in the history of ever. He knows every detail about the American Revolution. He made me enjoy history so much I eventually minored in it. Tests are hard if you don't figure out what to study, but you'll love going to class if you have any interest at all. He's really funny.

The entire class is writing what he says. His tests are very difficult, they require tons of studying. His quizes are kind of hard too. He's a nice guy, but his class is too hard for 111.
