Dr. Reese is a good teacher. the info in the class is not hard, there is just a lot of it. one of the reasons this class was interesting was the extra lecture material presented. however, a lot of this info comes up on the tests and it isnt in the book. take extremely good notes and ask questions if he is going too fast. :)

VERY good teacher. VERY informative. You will learn alot of things you never thought you would learn in that class with him. I will say, however, his tests are VERY hard sometimes. He is a great teacher but some questions on his tests seem like pointless information at times. Take ALOT of notes on his lectures if you want an A in his class.

A very nice man, but I was very bored during his class. There is alot of material packed into Pcc's HI 101 and 102, and you have to have an impeccable attention span to absorb everything in class. Which I don't. He knows his history very well; therefore his tests pull out some random info from lectures (pay attention to those lectures, esp. in 102)

He is a HUGH history buff who sometimes gets too caught up in his stories that he forgets to teach. This class is hard whoever you have. I worked hard and did ok..he's not as bad as some will make you think...I've had worse teachers!

He's boring, arrogant, unhelpful, and condescending. I loved history classes at PCC but hated this one b/c of Reese. I did well in this class, but I felt like he was fighting me for every point. Anyone who thinks Reese is a good teach is full of it!

Great teacher. Classes are more challenging than most but it's not hard to get a B and a little more study gets an A. His classes are well-worth taking, even if they do require a more work(just a little). He's definitely the best history prof.
