Reg was an entertaining proff, he made the class interesting, pointing out things he thought we should know. He presented the material very orderly and clearly. He was excellent for this course; he motivated me to consider taking more materials courses.

Wow... completely scatterbrained. It doesn't help that 256 is a random course to begin with. After the midterm I am reasonably sure most of the class did not have a clue as to what we were doing. He's a nice guy and interacts with the class a lot, but he doesn't explain himself well. Had to teach myself the last half of the course.

Complete scatterbrain. Does a good job of making easy material confusing. Just save yourself the trouble of listening to him talk; skip class and study the internet note set -- the tests come straight off of here and are easy!

Excellent Professor. Made the course interesting to learn, and was very logical about all the information he presented. His long background in material engineering showed when he gave responses to slightly offtopic questions. Definitely the kind of professor you want in an introductory course.
