She doesn't go over anything more than once. She tells you a word and what it means and your just supposed to know it. The worksheets she uses are hand written conversations, not worksheets to help you with learning what word means what.

I would say that she may have expected everyone knew some german to begin with (but thats because EVERYONE did) but she was a pretty good teacher. Maybe gruff with words, but like my grandpa, not like she was being mean. She gave everyone a Christmas card, I thought she was a nice person, and a good teacher. I would take her again.

She is from austria, which makes it hard for her to understand one very important thing about her students - WE HAVENT BEEN SPEAKING GERMAN SINCE BIRTH!!! she makes the calss hard, yells within a second of a mistake made, homework is hard and teacher is very unclear. She always gets into these stories that make no sense and waste all our time. 45 minutes was the longest one so far, and its only been 3 weeks in that class. My interest in the german language must be strong to put up with this woman for long.

I didn't think she was so bad. I didn't work all THAT hard in this class and managed a B+. She can be impatient w/ students. I never got yelled at and didn't see anyone in my class get yelled at either. I actually enjoyed the class.

I can't believe this woman is a teacher! Don't expect to learn anything, just expect to bust your ass for a C. I was interested in german until this woman broke each one of my fingers and toes with a sledge hammer of german (metaphor)
