He does not teach!! You must read the textbook word for word if you want to pass this class. And however he grades is horrible! If you don't write EXACTLY what he wants he takes off massive points. Overall, easy test; but if you're not extremely clear with your answer, and don't write exactly what he wants, expect at least 4-6 points off.

Alful!! Dont believe the others, have him for stat and he makes us learn the chapter before class by ourselves then takes the whole period going over the homework we dont know how to do. Trys to make class interesting but cant convey info at all. Just a plain waste of time effort and money.

Prof. Dewald genuinely cares about each of his students. His class is extremely difficult for people who are not good at math, but if you ask him for help he is more than glad to explain things in a way everyone can understand. If you have to take stats, take it with him.

Math is a hard subject for me, but Rev. Dewald made the class interesting and fun. He was always available for extra help. I really struggled in Stats class, but Rev. Dewald was patient and tried to relate the material to my life (I happen to be a music ed major). It was an awesome class!

Amazingly nice and genuinely cares about ALL of his students. The subject matter is tough and the way he teaches can be hard to understand. He's always willing to sit down with you outside of class and help you understand. I hate math and still do, but I like him. If need to take stats, take Dewald.

Whoever typed that last comment, jeez. He is a horrible Seminar teacher. Doesn't teach any english with it. Does not help with the essays. they are mostly done on your own or he sends you to a writing center. He also tries way to hard to be like a teenager for a guy who is 50-60
