At first, I was overwhelmed by the amount of work (quiz/HW/programming every week). Later, I greatly respected his style because I realized how amazingly *effective* it was. I dont think I can forget what I have learned in this class! This professor is a goldmine of knowledge. He is hardworking, has formula for teaching, and simply the greatest.

Professor Ahmadnia is hands down the best professor at CSUF. Weekly assignments and quizzes, and there's no reason not to get an A in the class if you do the homework. Ask him questions, he will clarify!

Comment:
For 223J, this class felt really easy to take to be honest. C++ and Java are very similar in terms of structure, with java being the easier language to master. For this professor he assigns a very heavy load of homework for this course, so keep up in assignments, lectures teach the basic java syntax expected in assignments.

You need to attend this class, for this professor his class is completely old school lecture based, everything is given within class. That being said, for 323, this is a solid choice, make sure to sit in front of the class to hear him, and take good notes, his class is fair as long as you pay attention and take good notes.

Though I passed, I found myself memorizing his code to please him on the tests. His lectures are great but he speaks very low. I learned a lot in this class but I feel like I was graded too harshly for very small things.

he is one of the best teachers you could possible get. all you need to do is show up take good notes and do small amount of homework he gives. anyone who complains about his tests or homework is just a lazy student expecting to get by without doing much work. he provides a fair amount of work for his class and will answer any questions you have.

One of the best CS professors ever! Very helpful in class & office hours. 1 project every week (you can do it by partners or individually), 2 midterms (assembly & computer organization) 1 final, and quizzes every other week. Each of those are worth 20% of your grade. Study your notes & projects before the exams & you'll be fine.

If he ends up teaching anymore classes I need to take I would enroll into his with no hesitation. His explanations are thorough, he tells you exactly what you need to know, and makes sure the class knows it before moving on. It's obvious he loves his job which translates into how well he can inspire you to be a better programmer. Take him!

I haven't had a professor this good in some time. He's a really nice guy who's great at teaching. There are professors who do it for the money and those who do it for teaching (this guy is the latter). There's no need to purchase the book. Study and do all the HW. Always be prepared for a quiz and double check your answers (trust me). A+

Excellent teacher. Don't miss any classes, it can be really easy to fall behind. Class covers a lot of material. Quizzes and HW nearly every week at the till around the midterm. There is one midterm, a final project and a comprehensive final. Make sure to get a partner at the beginning of the semester.

Professor Reza is one of the best professors in the school. His teaching is so clear and he gave a lot of assignments, but the midterms and final are taken from the assignments but maybe a little bit harder. If you have a chance to take a class with him. TAKE IT

Great Professor! It's obvious he loves what he does. He explains everything clearly with great examples, if you are confused at all just tell him and he will do everything in his power to make you understand. He gives you a week to finish labs, 2 Exams and 1 cumulative final which are half writing and half programming. Take notes and study them! A+

Prof Ahmadnia is a great professor. Unlike most professors in the engineering and comp science areas, he is very clear with his teaching style. His assignments are easy and his tests are slightly different problems than the HW, but close enough to be able to do well on them. Go to class and do the HW and you'll get an A
