Completely useless class. Avoid this professor at all costs! He is teaching future teachers but no nothing about teaching himself. Easy class but I nearly killed myself due to bordom and his crazy lectures and rants about absolutely NOTHING.

talked so much about irrelevant topics, we were not able to cover all aspects of the course (which we are tested on to obtain our degree). Demeaning to students. Tests, however, were very specific and detailed. When he did lecture on topic, it sometimes contradicted what the textbook said.

possibly worst class i've ever taken. constantly off-topic, starts relevant topic, strays into anecdote, never initiates discussion (which would be great in this class). Ridiculously easy but NOT worth the torturous hours of waiting for it to be over. could be used as a "how not to teach" since it's a teacher prerequisite. find any other section!

Do NOT take this class with Cornejo. Having an easy class is not worth sitting through hours of lame stories and jokes. We NEVER opened the book. Never lectured or taught us anything. The whole class was a waste of everybody's time. The assignments were for high schoolers. Never gives constructive criticism; just gives whatever grades he wants.

Dr. Cornejo is very very sweet. He's not very helpful but easy. He talks the whole time and it seems as if its a 5 hour class. If you can bear through it it's easy and he is very very very sweet.

Excellent and interesting class with a very nice, entertaining, fair, helpful, and knowledgable professor. The course content was practical, useful, and releant to teaching second language learners. The grading was fair, the final was easy since we had the questions ahead of time, and Prof. Cornejo makes himself totally available. He's awesome!

Prof Cornejo should review the course title, this is an education course for teaching High school in the content areas not a linguitic history class. There is very little practical information in this class. He has now repeated parts of two different lectures on several occasions. Retirement?
