Dr. Ullmann is very unfair! He does everything in group work and pretty much has the students teach themselves. He never lectures or teaches anything. I am usually an A-B student and he gave my entire group a C. He will only give you a good grade if he likes you. Only take this class if you don't want to learn anything and don't like a challenge.

Was an OK prof, test was very easy. Seems to play favorites a bit. Pretty liberal so if you are a conservitive, tone it down and you will get better grades. Did one speech with a conservitive slant and got a C, did the next two with more liberal/moderate and got an A and B. Other then starting out each class with Bush bashing, not a bad class.

He's an excellent teacher, but the class is tough. Since there are only four graded assignments, you have to do well on everything you do. The one test of the year is as difficult as he says. He will make you a better speaker. I love this class.

It has been over 10 years since I graduated from CSUF and the Speech Comm Dept. Ullmann was one of my favorite Profs. My favo line from him to me after 7 yrs of college. "I have seen your GPA, just pass you last class and get a job.

He is an awesome teacher, his classes are fun and he is more than willing to help you get better. We need more professors like him on campus. I recommend to anyone to take a speech class from him!
