If you are in his 101 class, Get yourself out. He has social disorders or something. He will put you to sleep almost every day and you will learn nothing. You will not get to do a project like the other sections.

For as much as he emphasizes communication, he lacks basic communication skills. Very unclear and disorganized. Expects you to clearly know things he hasn't adequetely explained. Canceled class about every other Friday. A very good Christian man, but not good at teaching.

He's very odd. If you do a project in his class, don't expect to get it back. I asked him for our projects back almost every day and he kept making dumb excuses. He grades the tests real hard (10 points off for one mistake) but then curves it like crazy (75% = B). And I know a ton of people who got A's or A-'s in his class.

A goofy prof, always seems quite unprepared, his teaching style was incredibly frustrating especially the 2nd half of the semester. I found his tests to be quite fair... his grading was a little harsh at times, but it always felt that I got the grade I deserved.

If you have a good sense of humor you can appreciate this guy. Most engineering students are dumb and don't have a good sense of humor. Just work hard in his thermo class and you will come to appreciate him. He makes you look stupid only if you deserve it
