Comment:

Best advice is to read all the chapters very well & not to depend on lectures. Tests go far more in depth and they make up a large part of your grade. He does grade on attendance/participation as well. Pretty entertaining/nice prof even though I thought his lectures didn't help a whole lot for the tests. Just read read read and you'll do well.

The class could be interesting but I think that Professor Parry just makes its more boring than it usually is. He rambles quite a bit and all he does during lecture is really read through his outline. Grade consists of 3 exams including final and he does take attendance and participation does matter.

MY FAVORITE CLASS ! i loved this class so much, its super interesting. Professor Parry is also super nice and cares about students. Must read and take own notes along with adding onto his lecture notes. PARTICIPATE IN CLASS! He curves his exams, definitely passable and an A is doable if you work for it, read, and pay attention in class

He is a very caring professor. However, this class is HARD and he is not afraid to really test if you know subject material or not. Tests are mainly made up scenarios where you must apply specific laws to rule on the issue. You must know torts inside and out. Exams are CURVED generously. Favorite class of the semester! One quiz, two exams, and the final (not cumulative), and participation points. Nice and funny, he lectures but he usually keeps it pretty entertaining. MUST READ TO GET GOOD GRADE. He will tell you specific questions/concepts that will be on the exams in class if you pay attention. Challenging, but worth taking.

Professor Perry is hands down one of the best professors I have had. He encourages questions. He made the class very interesting and was funny. He is also very cool and almost like a grandpa you strive to be when you grow old. He shows mercy to his students and tends to curve the exams. 10/10.

Professor Parry is definitely a solid select when it comes to management teachers. His lecture tend to be boring and he goes off his outline, which are from the book you have to read. 2 exams, 1 final, 1 quiz (dropped if you improve on midterms). Manageable, lol, but you must be able to make your own time for studying cuz you will need it.

Lectures were boring until I participated. Professor is kind and funny. Mark what he says would be on the test. Advice is combine your lecture notes with his, skim chapters. Easy to pass but you have to study hard for an A. Make sure to come ready with questions he grades participation. Overall, awesome professor, interesting cases.

Im gonna be straight to th-. Yes he talks fast but with the amount of material its necessary. Read ahead of class IF you want; his outlines are enough. Graded on 6 things (3 tests + final, quiz participation). Difficulty is so-so and you must memorize almost entire chpts if you want a B or higher. Gives clues about test in class. CREATE OWN OUTLINE

Professor Parry is honestly one of my favorite professors so far in college. His class does require some effort, but if you pay attention in class and stay one chapter ahead of his lectures, then you will be fine. His tests can be confusing, but just take your time while taking it. His class is not impossible, just do what you're supposed to do.

Parry's class is difficult because you have to really get into the subject to get a good grade. He gives good examples in lectures. However, in the tests the scenarios are really confusing. Distracts you with names like Smiley Virus and gives you too much information and expects you to answer it the way he would. Do not recommend.

Great professor! His outlines are enough unlike some people say but you actually have to do work in order to get a good grade, how unreasonable. If you want a good grade in any class you cant expect hand outs, you need to do the work. You're in college.

Basically you need to learn & read everything by yourself, and rewrite entire book for your outline. If you ask for help after receiving bad grade, he will just ask you to write more pages for meaningless outline. He will get mad when students get good grades, and make the next exam harder. He always makes students feel dumb. Tough test. AVOID HIM.

Mr. Parry is an okay professor, class is overall challenging, especially when he talks extremely fast. When you ask a question he makes you feel dumb but you have to ask questions to get participation points. His outlines don't help either and the exam contains so much information.

Class is overall challenging, have to read the book to pass. Attendance is mandatory and you must participate in class or it will hurt your grade. Grades on a curve to make up for his extremely hard exams. With the curve, still, a lot of people failed. Do yourself a favor and take Charles Smith.

HE CURVES!!! The tests are pretty easy, just do the case readings so that you know what the case is about and the ruling (he changes the names of the people involved in the cases). He outlines all of the chapters so use that to take notes or just use the outlines as note (he says that you won't pass if you do that, but you totally will).
