Comment:

One of the best instructors I've ever had. He truly cares about students and will help you understand everything so you get a good grade. He provides extra notes and slightly altered formulas that help a lot. I wish he taught every math class so I could take him for all of them. He's hilarious and makes going to class very fun. Highly recommended.

Best Professor ever!!! Mr. Piva is the first math teacher I have had that I actually understood and knew what he was talking about! He goes over everything that is going to be on the test! The only drawback is that your grade is made up entirely of test so study!! However, he is there for you and wants to see you pass! He's also hilarious!

Piva is a great teacher! His examples in class directly relate to the HW he assigns. Then he gives you a review sheet a week prior to the test. He gets the test review questions from the HW assignments. And he gets the test questions from the review sheet. So a helpful hint, DO THE HW!! If you do, you will get a A or B easy!

The guy is a stud, dont get me wrong. But he moves too fast sometimes, and if you do not know a lot of math to begin with you will struggle. He is a great person and many people love him. I think I would have had a better grade if I was better at math to begin with.

I wish he taught all my classes! He makes everything so easy to understand and if you don't get it he will help you before/after class or even during the test! He makes class fun and even if you don't like math you will during his class. Guaranteed A if you actually put minimal effort.

BEST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! I would (and do) recommend him to anyone taking a mathematics course at BCC! He is sooooo helpful and nice!! Example- if you have trouble WHILE taking the test, he will help you and tell you what you are doing wrong! I'm not a very strong math student but I did Ace his precalculus class :)!
