he is a nice guy and is very passionate when it comes to russian. however if your views are not like his, no matter how hard you try and talk in conversations, your grade in participation wont show it. i speak at least once every class and i didnt get higher then a B

Professor Reis is a great teacher. He goes over things many times until you understand. He assigns an average amount of homework, about 45 minutes worth per night. He is the nicest professor I've met. The dialogues he assigns are a bit difficult, but they are manageable in you spend enough time on them.

Makes foundations fun. cares about students, kind of a tough grader but youll get used to what hes looking for in papers and presentations. also make sure you talk in class! participation counts for a lot of your grade. field trip to montreal is fun.

Prof. Reis is an amazing teacher. He really wants to know what students think, and therefore has students work of presentation skills. He is fantastic and really cares about his students. I had him two years ago, and he still is interested in what I'm doing and such. He is fantastic and is defintely my favorite prof. at Siena

He's a nice guy, but his class is very tedious and sometimes I felt very lost in it and wanted to sleep. The previous comment is a lie.. reis is laid back but hes not at all easy. If you dont agree with him, he brings your grade down heavily. Dont go through the pain!!

very easy. hes such a nice guy and pretty decent teacher. only one test and it was a piece of cake. a lot of writing but it only takes a short amount of time to complete the assignments. he never collects the discussion questions he assigns so dont both doing them.

He's def. a great guy & teacher. Totally laid back class (when we have it!) only 1 exam and not that many papers at alll! Probably one of the best/easiest outta all the found. classes b/c of him-- he's a good person & cares about the students! Highly recommended!!!
