I enjoyed taking a course with Dr. Wright. He makes class fun and interesting. Courses are lecture heavy so make sure you attend every class, take good notes (because he doesn't give slides) and study them well for the midterm and final. He also have 3 papers that he assigns as part of the overall grade. Would definitely take another course Wright!

Dr. Wright is an awesome prof!! Anything you need to know for the exam are in his lectures slides. He has about 3 papers and his test are all multiple choice. But if you paid attention in class and studied the slides, you will do great in this course. Would definitely take another course with him!

Assignments weren't tough and easy marks! However, the final was super hard and ruined GPA. Might have to retake the course as he doesn't allow final readjustments.

His lecture slides are mostly pictures, blank space, & little text. He also shows a lot of examples & demos to explain theories. There is no need to copy everything he says. Study the textbook, even topics he didn't cover for the exam. Assignments are just a few short paragraphs applying theories to personal examples, use vocab from textbook.

I loved Richard's class! His lectures are very engaging and he was very good at explaining things in a way that was easy to relate to and understand. Lectures also usually ended a bit early which was a plus! Exams are all multiple choice and the assignments aren't terribly difficult.

He is always here to help students understand course materials, and welcomes students to interact in class. In order to get into the A range, you must take really good lecture notes and read the readings before hand. He also shares information about applying to grad school and lab research opportunities.

Interesting lectures that are recorded which is useful when studying. No lecture slides as he mostly just talks for the lecture so make sure to take good notes. 85% of your mark comes from tests so you want to make sure to study lots! It's mainly focused on lecture materials but to get an A you need to also know textbook material as well.

Dr. Wright is a very good lecturer. This was a very interesting course. The thought papers are an easy A, but are only worth so little and since the exams are worth so much (40%- midterm, 45%- final), it really doesn't matter how you did on them. Study ahead of time and try to re-listen to the lectures. Good luck!

Dr. Wright's lectures are amazing and fun and provided alot of examples that helps explain the contents. Mid terms and Finals are all MCQs, based mostly on his lectures. Be attentive in classes and do your readings before hand. Though this course is memorization-based, take good notes and read over them before exam can give you at least a B range.

Just another mediocre prof, biggest issue I have with him is the format of his exams as they are needlessly difficult. There's is so much content to memorize and the True and False MC is comprised of the most trivial, random facts. It's completely absurd.

Thought papers are quite easy if you put effort into it, however, there is a A LOT of material to memorize. He tests you on the tiniest of details, which was annoying. The midterm and final were tricky, so definitely study ahead of time.

Awesome Prof!! Genuinely cares for his students and it's one of those classes in which you can actually pay attention for the full 2.5 hrs. To get an A - take rly good notes, read the textbook, don't cram. Exams are MC and each question is worth a lot (almost .8%) so don't overlook things in the notes or text. 80% + will get you in the A range.

I'm going to be real here.. this class was so extremely easy. If you have any science background you don't even have to go to class - I only went to the midterm and final. I don't understand most of these other ratings. Buy the textbook, read it, write the test, and get an A. Everything is in the book. 10/10 so easy would recommend

The course only consisted of 3 short responses, midterm and final. Exams are all multiple choices but they weren't easy. Make sure you read the articles thoroughly and know them inside out in order to do well.

He is a nice guy, offers good insight into subject material. However, to do well in this course, you must make good notes or team up with classmates and review notes. In addition, study the textbook really well. His questions are comprised of true and false multiple choice which can be confusing. As long as you are actively studying, you are solid.
