Excellent prof. Cares deeply about his students and is extremely knowledgeable about the material. A lot of students tend to skip lectures as you can scrape by with just reading the text. I definitely recommend attending lecture, though. Iverson knows how to engage students and hammer points home. Tuts after lec are instructed by him-aim for those.

Great teacher! Works hard and cares about his students. He obviously works out a lot. He might have looked like Tom Cruise in the past, but now he looks a more like Clive Owen. Not sure about the glasses, though.

Very engaging lecturer; you can tell he loves what he does. With his lecture style, you'll easily remember the key concepts. Provides a good outline of what's on exams. Always available for help outside of lecture/tutorials. If you're in the tutorials closest to the lecture, he'll likely be your TA as well- rare for a professor of his status.

He is very nice and willing to help. Not so much "hot" as "refined" he dresses well and is probably really rich. He definitely knows how to make HR interesting and fun and he DEFINITELY knows what he's talking about.

One of the best profs I've had at SFU, winner of the TD Bank Distinguished Teaching Award. He is very knowledgeable in HR, has a very high interest in course content, and even helps place students in jobs after graduation. Lectures are fairly interesting & interactive.

He will make a judgment about you right away. Go to his office and make sure that he thinks you are a keener because the material is so subjective his grades are often based on what he thinks about you. If you can take something else instead do it, it wasn't worth the money.

He is a delightful prof who looks just like Tom Cruise! His accent is dreamy but he does go on and on. And the eating and shelling of the organic peanuts can be distracting.

Rick adds no value to the lecture and just repeats the textbook. I haven't had him as a TA, so maybe he's a better TA than he is a professor. Or, maybe he's a better prof for higher-level courses... but certainly not for 381.

Just an excellent teacher. Very easy to talk to, and will go out of his way to help any student. Class material is quite applicable to the HR industry. Another note on Rick, he is helping a group of student get ready for an HR case competition in Montreal. How many Profs go that far for students?

Rick is the best, he motivates and keeps everyone interested and is very helpful and supportive. He even gives out his home number for extra help and planned an end of the semester pub lunch for the entire class to celebrate the end of the class. How many profs do that?
