I think Rick cares what you think but you better be able to defend it. Socratic in method and knows his turnips. Spent time in the trenches as well as the classroom. 10 years later my successes are lot to do with what, as well as the way, he taught.

Tell you what, try an find a prof who has done as much as this guy. Just try talking to him. Farmed as a kid, winner of the highest civilian honour that China offers and can down a beer with the best of them. Enjoy your time.

This guy is the worst prof I've ever had. He paces back and forth at the front of class, asking questions, and WAAAAAITING for an answer. After a while even the keeners get sick of sticking up their hands and the class grinds to a slow crawl. Bloody tedious, and makes you want to beat you head on the wall.
