Genuinely good person who cares about his students but does get off topic and into unrelated tangents during his lectures. Reading the textbook is necessary in his class for that reason.

Dr. Milne is a really nice guy who is passionate about the environment. His lectures can get really slow, but if you're interested in the subject you'll enjoy it. All of the test information is in the textbook (which is really well laid out), making attending lectures sort of irrelevant if you're good at studying.

Milne is a very good prof who genuinely cares about his students and is always willing to help them. His lectures can sometimes get a little off topic which causes him to fall behind. However, overall he is a good prof, who tries to make tests fair/easy for his students. Makes funny jokes sometimes too. :)

Rob Milne seems like a good enough guy he just isn't great at explaining the content in his lectures. I personally struggled to understand what he was talking about half the time, and his slides are vague when you go back to try and study them. His lectures were also the most boring 50 minutes of my day.

Rob Milne honestly does try his best to communicate the lecture material in the best way, however, he gets side-tracked a lot. He ends up on a tangent and when the lecture is only 50 minutes we miss out/get behind on a lot of material. Otherwise, a really caring guy who likes to crack some jokes. Quizzes and midterm werent too hard as well!

One of my favourite professors. He teaches his best to make students stay interested in the content and makes sure students know how to interpret discourses and stakeholders (hard topic to wrap your head around in general). Marks with a lot of feedback and is very fair on marking for midterms and exams.

Clear instructions, good online material but you need the textbook (which is worth getting) for tests. Good test reviews, assignments are simple problem solving, a bit time consuming but easy. Good online support from prof, material is really interesting so its easy to read, lots of visuals. Relatively little work required, just study for the tests

Great personality, amusing to listen to during lectures. Gets off lecture topic easily, didn't get through all the material. Seems to really love what he does, offers to help with anything. Put in a little effort and you will do very well on exams and assignments. Textbook was useful when studying to fill in the gaps.

Milne is certainly an exceptional professor. He has a passion for the material as well as a genuine interest in your success - IF you put in the effort. His power point slides don't have much of an organic flow... so it's imperative that you attend every class to tie everything together when studying for exams.

Have taken two classes with him thus far, both online. Awesome Guy. GG231 was very easy. There was some work involved but it was easy work. Easy to get a good great if you put a bit of effort into it. Highly recommend his online classes. He outlines exactly what will be on the exam and midterm. Nice guy!
