Very smart and engaging. He presents his material thoroughly and intelligently. He has a passion for the truth and a love for his students. His lectures are very informative, thought provoking, and easy to pay attention to. He does have his hobby horses (KJV and Calvinism), and sometimes lowers his level of scholarship when addressing these topics.

I never had trouble staying awake in his class. He kept me interested in the books of Leviticus and Numbers. He never minded when I asked questions and always answered fully and completely.
