Dr. Alexander is great. He is really passionate about the material he teaches and it's contagious. He is very helpful and always willing to answer questions. He encourages class discussion and loves when students participate. His test can be hard, but they focus heavily on the lectures, but you do need to read the book if you want an A.

Dr. A is very enthusiastic, but expects you to know your material. He lectures from his own knowledge, but it helps to read the book for a better understanding of what he is talking about. There are only three tests and a paper though. He seems to be confident though. You can get a C on the first test and he says you'll be okay.

Honestly, I've never had a class where the 50 minutes went by so quickly. If you have a choice, take this professor, definitely. Tests are difficult, but passable, especially if you go to class every day. He will also do anything he can to help you understand, and works to get the class involved. Great class all around.
