Dr. Baird was great! His tests are quite difficult, but his teaching style is amazing-I had no interest in Philosophy before the class...but each class, Dr. Baird made the subject enjoyable. I learned quite a bit, as well!

Great professor! Not a tough class. Great to take in a tough semester. It's like a breath of fresh air in the middle of the day.

He is very clear, and goes over many examples in class, which is helpful at test time. The concepts are new to most people, but he explains them very well. Overall, I think he is a superb prof.

Not a bad class but watch out. His final as per blackboard grading showed the class average to have dropped by 12 points. The class itself was well taught and boring but when a professor drops the class average by 12 points on the final, something is up there.

I now teach in a major university, and was able to fly through graduate school because of the incredible teaching of Baird. He's simply the best teacher I've seen.

Not sure if he still teaches it, but there is no better instructor when it comes to Modern Philosophy. Clear, to the point, and easy-going. I did not miss his classes.
