Took his class my 1st semester. He treats students like children and is very confusing. He rambles a lot and loses what he was talking about. He wrote the book for the class so the book is as confusing as he is. Pretty easy class but DONT be late and MUST attend classes

He is a real stickler for attendance and for cell phones being put away during class, other than that, it's a very easy class as long as you pay attention. He even lets you write your own extra credit questions on the test and put together his own textbook to save students a lot of money!

Anyone who takes this class will have something to talk about for years to come. This is one very interesting man. You will ask yourself often what the heck is he doing. If you arent paying attention, texting, reading the book when he is talking, dont sign the attendence sheet, or sign out to use the bathroom look out!!!

Great professor. He's strict about attendance and texting in class, as he should be. The range and amount of audio and visual material is amazing and all the tests are incredibly easy if you weren't one of the people playing with their phone or talking the entire class. Bonus points for good attendance as well.

He's very knowledgeable about music, but he tends to walk around and rant a lot. The class is very easy if you pay attention and read the book (The book is really thin and easy to read). The majority of the class is watching videos.

Can be a bit rambly, but if you take notes, read the book, and do the study guide questions, this class is an easy A. He's a stickler about his attendance sheets, but if you miss less than 2 classes you are exempt from the final so it makes sense. Attended every class, read the book, did the study questions, 100% on both tests and no final. Easy!

He is off his rocker. Super OCD&awkward. Shuffles around droning on and on. Awkwardly stands in front of people clearing his throat if they're texting. I don't understand why he's OCD about attendance if its x-credit.. it's your own fault if you're not there why should he care???

Great teacher! I took one of his classes for my degree and plan to take his other as well. He has an impressive knowledge and understanding of many areas of music. Anyone with respect for their teacher and the rules that teachers give will have no problem. Strict about attendance because he gives you bonus points based on how often you're there

He's definitely burnt out and OCD. He's crazy about students signing in & out and he's very awkward & drones on & on. If you go to class you get bonus points & if you do well on the tests you don't have to take the final. I bombed the first test because it was hard to tell what exactly he wanted us to know. Aced the rest of them so no final. Easy A

I'm a music Major, it is my intent to become a music teacher. This class, whether you like music or not, is absolutely useless. He is OCD, physically controlling, unorganized and a torture to listen to. I forgot to sign out to go to the bathroom and he FOLLOWED ME TO THE BATHROOM GRABBED MY ARM AND PULLED ME OUT!!

This was a telecourse. I love music so I thought I would do good. I filled out the study guide and studied it day & night. I could answer everything in that book. So when I went to take the test...NOTHING from the guide was in there! There were questions related to the guide but nothing that he TOLD you to focus on! He was a rough one. STAY AWAY!

I like the fact he gave so much extra credit however that doesn't take away from the fact that this class was so disturbing. He made us sign out to go to the bathroom and to get a drink of water and sign back in and were considered absent if we took too long! Video clips were atrocious.

This was a telecourse. You have to be up to the independent study in order to do well. As long as you fill out the study guide and then study it, you'll do well. He takes all questions for the tests out of the guide and gives lots of extra credit opportunities. He doesn't hear well, so when talking to him, speak up.
