I was never able to read his comments on my papers or labs. His exams average between 40 to 50. All he does is read from power point slides, which we can do without showing up for class. I am so glad am done with his classes, I hope he stays away from teaching SURE-440.

Wow that was some really hard exams given over simple stuff. This man may be able to write an exam about your life and be able to have you fail it. Good teacher, and he curves his tests alot. So the class can pass. Work hard you can get a Solid B very easy.

Hey people watar u talkin bout? u might not know it, but Burtch is really hard, he is tuff. Grades you very hard. It is immpossible to get perfect grades or even close in the labs. Tough exams. I hope he doesnt teach sure 440, otherwise we'll FAIL.

Very knowledgeable, i like the way he teaches, but it gets so boring sometimes. If u miss 4 lectures, u will fail in his class. Too many exams in the semester. VERY VERY hard at grading. Always gives u less that what you deserve, i talked to him for 2 hours to change my exam grade, but he didint!

He can lecture all hour and no one will have a clue what he's talking about. Very easy to fall asleep here. Tests and extremely subjective. Everyone does poorly on tests, then he applies large curves. Unrealistic expectations for lab projects.
