If you plan on taking Chipkin make sure you get lots of sleep or don't chose an early class because he rambles on & on and it makes you bored or sleepy. Barely any homework with 3 papers. Write them his way and you'll get a B or A. He will call you out & roast you lmao in front of the class. P.s. when he shows you a video he will talk/narrate it

Easy class to pass, he may ramble on and on but its an easy class if you were taught how to write for standardized tests during high school, very little homework assignments, and hell set up deadlines for typed assignments so he'll know if your on the right path or not.

The worst professor I have ever had. He lectures from the beginning of class until the end and doesn't stop once. You will have to read the most boring book known to man. Yours papers have to written in HIS specific way or you will lose points. Have not learned anything from his class.

wow learned the same "communication model" for 2 months until he slammed us with essays at the end of the semester. painful to wake up to, painful to sit through, and painful to listen to for 50 minutes. plus he's a communications major teaching a composition course

I can understand why some people might like Prof. Chipkin, he repeats things alot and goes very slow which annoys a lot of people, but in all honesty the things he keeps repeating are actually important and helpful. He is willing to work with you if you bring in work to him and you will get a good grade for sure. T

He knows his stuff. If your passionate about Journalism he can be a valuable resource. He's passionate about his news and runs a pretty loose and easy class. He's a really nice person but i can understand why people think he's boring. I liked him a lot and would reccomend him highly to those who love print media.

He's a nice guy. He repeats himself alot. For the first month, he wrote the same thing on the board EVERY CLASS and said the same thing EVERYCLASS. Not too much work, he explains himself way to much, which takes him off topic. Overall, easy class, but very dull and very boring.

this class is VERY easy, but it is boring as well. We have done the same thing EVERY class. the only real effort you have to put into his class is to read the front page of the newpaper everyday because he might quiz you, but thats it.
