I had multiple classes with Dr Davis (Math Major) during my time at SMU. Looking back, his classes were the most memorable and I've retained a lot of the information even seven years after graduating. He teaches in a way that helps you understand the concepts behind the math, rather than just having you memorize formulas. Overall: fantastic!

He is a very good teacher. However is a very boring man, you will have to find something to keep you awake in class. Besides that his tests are doable if you study and he is VERY helpful if go to office hours. He practically does the HW probs for you. And he is kind of a socially awkward man he doesnt interact or build rapport with students

A sweet old man. He'll work you through the homework if you go to office hours, and with the right dedication you can get an A almost without doing anything. Can be unclear or distracting sometimes during class, but has a quirky sense of humor that makes the subject bearable.

I would stay away if possible. He doesn't let you use your calculator for the tests. He started off as an ok professor. but he kept trying to speed things up especially within the last month of the class. Many people failed the 4th test because the material was not clear. He licks his lips and stares at the ceiling, which is very distracting.

cutest/sweetest man EVER. very smart, and helpful. entertaining in a corney way. really nice guy and wants to help if you actually care. great teacher. in his class you can learn, make good grades, and not stress.
