Super fun class. Theres about 6 or so assignments. All super easy, just follow directions and get an A. Two tests that are online and super easy because he gives notes on them the class before. Doesnt take attendance, class is fun. Take some notes, do an expierment, and leave super early.

Comment:

This class was extremely easy and enjoyable. Everett gives insight on how teaching hands-on science is necessary and fun. Weekly lectures, 2 tests, a midterm, some reflections, and a mini-lesson presentation at the end. Not the most rigorous course if you're trying to learn in-depth strategies, but definitely fun!

Dr. Everett is a great professor. The class is composed of several experiments, which are so fun! Two tests, which are off the powerpoint he sends you, four 1-2 page reflections on articles, being a judge for a science fair, a textbook evaluation (done in class), and a lesson plan done with a partner. Overall, an easy class and stress reliever.

He is a very nice, and helpful teacher. He is also very knowledgable about science and education which makes him a great source. Professor Everett makes this class interesting and fun while still helping everyone learn a lot. His assignments are few and he makes the tests easy as long as you go to class. I would definitely take him again.

I took this class for summer b. Very lenient, which saved my life during summer b. No book needed, he tells you everything you need to know. He loves his experiments, and it makes the class fun. It really was an experience and if he is available for you to take him, TAKE HIM! You won't regret it.

Great class. Very interesting man. Fantastically witty, nerdy, and bashful. Very hand-on material and useful information. Please Google "Biology Bob". And he really was cute in the 70's. If you know a single, middle-aged woman who reminds you of Ms. Frizzle, hook a man up.

Dr. Everett is amazing and conducts one of the most interesting, fun and relaxed classes I have ever taken. He is funny, sweet and really cares about education. There are only two tests and most of the class involved very fun and interactive hands-on science experiments that you can actually use in your own classroom. He even sings songs in class!

Amazing, just amazing. Dr. Everett is the best professor I've ever had! He's knowledgeable, caring, funny, and entertaining! His assignments are easy but RELEVANT and useful. Class time consists of hands-on science experiments that you can REALLY USE with your students. I loved his class, I loved him, and I learned a lot too! Take him if you can!

One of the best teachers at UCF!! Everything is hands on. He makes you love science even if it's in spite of yourself. Formerly one of my least fav subjects, I'm now super excited to do it in my classroom! If you get the chance, take him!!
