very interesting class, great lecture, really clear, although he writes fast, he has probably the best lecture in the first term of MA. but damm he is a hard marker, and he hates dumb questions.

He is a Friedmanite. He gave a great lecture about why Canadian banks should not merge and dissected the sectors arguments in favour. The engineers did their red eye stomp through the Arts building. He turned red, calling them goose stepping fascists. When we didn't understand something he thought we should know, he'd say sue your past prof.

interesting class but the hardest marker i have ever come across and can get really frusturating. He teaches it well but he wants the answer in his view so ****ting isn't an option. make sure you really understand the stuff and see him during office hours because if you don't, the class can be a very frusturating time.

Very organized, keeps command of his class and demands effort. He tends to use his versions of models and skips over a lot of the material in the text. It's all math, and no theory. If you think that economics is a natural science you'll enjoy. I love economics, worked my ass off in this class and still barely passed.

Hardest prof I have ever had. Writing is difficult to read and he goes really fast. Does not use the text book. Creates his own models and does not explain material very well. AVOID THIS PROF

Definitely one of the toughest profs I've had. His old school methods of cramming like no other is out of style and will leave you thinking how am I going to pass this class. Expect to go into the final with a 50 and ride the curve up. I passed and think I am more confused with economics than ever!! Avoid this class is possible.

Prof. Lucas is organized, accurate and precise prof I ever had. His lectures are very rounded and if you miss his lecture you cannot succeed in his class. Many students could not understand his class because they did not spend much time studying his lecture notes. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to know economics and its models. Study har

His lectures are crammed with information and it's impossible to study all of info he presents in class. To do well you don't have to know everything. Extensively study some of the larger concepts and pray that they will be on the exam.....Very smart guy by the way.

I like how he conducts himself in class -- he has a low tolerance for fools, which many of us students appreciate. Who cares whether he can teach or not? Read your text, work through the notes, do his sample tests, and you're guaranteed to do well.
