Its not that hes incomprehensible but more so that what he talks about doesn't need to be understood and class becomes a big waste of time. He teaches the theories right of the text book and if your lucky he will spend a half hour doing something from cal 3. Class time is a total waste. Very bad expereince, dont take.

DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY! I think his class does the worst in all exams. He is so hard to understand cause he explains everything in theorems. I should have dropped him but now failing the class. He can't teach at all. He is a nice guy but thats the only good thing about him.

He is a great professor. One of the most challenging and the top professors of the school. He is really good at everything he does. I would take him again if I had the opportunity to. Because he always encourages his students to reach heights they could never reach in math. Only thing he needs to improve would be to review more for the exams

I had to withdraw from this class, but hes a really nice guy. However his quizzes are almost impossible to pass and the class is tough for students who just entered college. You must be able to know some calculus.

Miura is absolutely brilliant. His quizzes were difficult, and he had high expectations of the class, but I would not hesitate to enroll in any of his classes again. (Only if I had to by requirement. I wouldn't voluntarily take a math class here...)

By far one of the most intelligent professors at NJIT. That fact aside, he forgets that he teaches a regular calc class which means a far tougher curriculum for students. ONCE AGAIN, THE DUDE'S TOUGH. He's a very nice guy but he needs to stop teaching with only proofs and theories...He's also got a trasformation named after him:the"Miura Transform"

The dude is too smart to be teaching a regular calc class, like he explains everything in theorys and doesnt really give any examples. It gets hard to stay awake if you dont follow theory after theory he puts up. Gives a ton of hw, and quizes every lecture... so basically if you don't get the theorys in lecture, u won't get the hw and the class
