Bob is one of the most committed to helping his students develop their work on a personal level. bob is a teacher i will want to have all 4 years at mica. he is crazy intelligent, his slide lectures are amazing, and his concepts are so different and so important. i can talk to him about my art and my life- he cares and he pushes his students. one of the best teachers at mica.

Bob is a great person. He's extremely generous and caring. When he teaches he really encourages you to explore your area of interest. He has specific guidlines the first half of the semester, but then he sets you free to paint what you please and then offers guidance and opinions. Overall--great person and teacher.

Bob is always willing to talk about what you are going for with your art. If his class is set up how you don't like then talk to him early..he truely is a teacher who tries to make you think and produce art you actually want to. If he's not clear its because he wants you to experience and do**** on your own. He is an amazing teacher!!
