DE - 3 tests, questions given in advance. Half of final exam was multiple choice (same style as tests) and half was 3 essay Qs (picked out of 12 that he had already given us well in advance). Modules were absolutely useless, concentrate on the textbook.

Exam was a piece of cake ! Three reasonable open book test, lecture CD was kinda useless, the book is very important and study guide was actually kinda helpful for studying the exam .. essay and assignments are not hard and fair , if you have the heart fro children ..take this course!!!

Be prepared to wait forever for final grades. Also, no feedback given about final essay submissions. The tests are extremely easy (open-book and he gives the answers well in advance) and so was the exam, as long as you study those essay questions. He is extremely difficult to reach personally and the TA wasn't much help either.

Horrible Prof! He is unorganized and didn't realize after ppl had emailed him about the essay questions that those were the ones he was supposed to put on the exam! We had to be the ones to organize the re-make final. He is extremely rude and he couldn't have cared less that he messed the course up for everyone. Doesn't know a thing about DE course

He gave us the wrong exam questions to study for, and made only the 36 MC questions on the final count for 50% of the mark, after we had taken a few hours to complete the essay questions, and after hours of studying! The MC questions didn't adequately show anyone's knowledge of the course either!

Do not take this course if you rely on feedback and interactive teaching from a professor. Emailed him 5+ times and never heard back once. Online MC test questions are given before the actual test. The term paper he assigned gives no direction and Does not help in understanding of the course material AT ALL!! Overall so far, pretty easy. Grade: D

3 term tests (50% of final mark)- open book and all MC. u're given 50% of the final exam- u just need to prepare answers for the given "essay" questions. so without much effort, u're practically guaranteed 75%. i got an 88% and didn't do much for it (i didn't learn much either). just take it to boost ur average.

This course is a joke. He GIVES YOU the questions to the MC tests. Some of the questions have incorrect answers - but why are you complaining? HE GIVES YOU THE QUESTIONS! Take this course if you want to get a 90 with absolutely no effort.

I wrote a 14 page term paper during a most hectic semester. He gave me 0/15 on it. That's right, zero. And he gave us the marks after the final exams! Bitter old man with a dignified disguise. No passion in his voice, no compassion in his deeds.

He's so monotonous, you wonder if he's ever been glad about anything in his life. It's so ironic what this course teaches (Education, how to Test, Examine, etc) and how it is conducted. Some multiple choice possible answers ALL INCORRECT. Term Paper marked by gut feeling and has nothing to do with the course. I give this course F- in fairness.

It took Bob Seim from sept 4 2001 until april 11 2005 to complete a section 30 assessment. I give him a failing grade. He kept me waiting to get back to court that entire time, 3 years and 7 months. A terrible example to set for students. But he still had time to make wine for competitions yearly.
