You will learn about his world views he goes over the books but not the entire material in the syllabus. If you go to class where he says the same things over and over, you'll be fine. 2 tests both multiple choice & T/F & one book review. students submit questions for the test so if students send them to each other you'll know whats on it

I had Dr. Stock for 2 PA classes and as my Intern. Facilitator. This was in 99 and '00 and he was awesome. I ran into him in 2009 with my two kids at a restaurant and he still remembered me. He mentioned he wanted to retire soon, so I am not sure if he has since. None the less, back in his day he was awesome and very good.

If you want a good grade without effort and you don't care about not learning anything, take his class. He does not want to be teaching anymore and it shows. SHOW UP ON TIME or don't show up at all. He remembers people who are late to class and your grade is SUBJECTIVE.

This man defnitely needs to Retire!! I tried to receive answers to several question I had throughout the semester, & he never helped. Most of her answers were to look for it on blackboard (often times not there) & he was just rude & arrogant most of the time. Class sounded unineresting, and too bad it wasn't thanks to him>:(

Honestly, he is very grumpy and very narrow minded, however he is extremely easy and if you have any common sense you will get an A in the class. Essay is easy, and tests are easy also. He lets you chose the questions and then lets you discuss them. You basically have all the answers before hand. I thought he was interesting.

Old Old old and grumpy grumpy grumpy. I had his two classes back to back and he said the same stuff each class. Didn't learn anything but patience. Tests easy because he uses student submitted answers, just memorize the compiled submission froma classmate. Take him if you can tolorate a grumpy old man that complains all class.

Stock is very radical in his views. He dislikes when students disagree with him, and is quick to snap. I spent weeks preparing for my term paper. He gave me a D. When I went to his office hours to discuss my paper, he told me my facts were incorrect, even though I cited my sources (all official gov. sources). He refused to let me prove to him that

At first I thought this guy was a cranky old man. As the semester progressed he kind of grew on me. The tests were easy. Don't be late. Don't sit in the back of the class if seats are open up front. He is very opinionated. One paper required -- very easy.

very opinionated, will stop class if you walk in 3 minutes late to simply just glare at you, just lectures and expects you to remember all the random little facts he throws out, you need to really try and make it to office hours and don't go against his opinions

"Professor" Stock should not be allowed to teach at any school, ever. He is not funny whatsoever. His answer keys for the tests were inaccurate and he didn't care. Class is extremely unorganized, he doesn't follow syllabus. If you want to pass a class, sure he is easy. If you want an A you better have been in the military and played sports.

stock is great as long as you dont get on his bad side. go to class and he basically goes through the book telling you the important stuff and what page number its on. write the test questions and have someone in the class compile them to send out as a study guide. there was a paper to write but he ended up making it optional. hes funny and easy

Having Stock is an extremely miserable students for a lot of students. Do not even bother going to his office hours, he will most likely shut you down immediately. Old and grumpy. This class is super easy, we make up the test questions. The mid-term asked the same question 5 times and it was like 40 questions long, and i don't think he realizes it. He's not out to give people bad grades. Don't come late because it might be a day that he will put you on the spot. He doesnt favor anybody but he will use the athletes in the cla

Prof Stock has has many stories to tell. Sometimes you'll hear the same story 3, 4, 5 or more times during the semester. They are interesting the first time and after that they are pointless. He is really moody. Some days he is great, the next he is a grumpy and irritable. His class favorites are athletes and military. He's just ok.

If you can get beyond your first impressions, then you'll get to like him. Naturally, he has his opinions, just choose to agree or disagree. If you want to debate, be able to back up what you say; if you're knowledgeable and show him respect, you'll earn his respect in return. He comes across as kind of salty, but he's not that bad.
