Horrible professor. Does not care about helping out his students academically. Doesn't care that he is boring the entire class with his slideshows of his work. SAYS UM or UH every 2 minutes. Has unrealistic grading criteria and grades for paper quality as if he is an English teacher. HE IS HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Good professor, but extremely vague about concepts. Don't bother asking what's on tests, he doesn't prepare you for them anyhow. But over all, not terrible.

Dr. Sutton was one of my favourite professors, during my undergraduate career. (My minor was Classical Studies.) As a lecturer, he is engaging, enlightening and entertaining. He truly loves his subject field(s), and has uniquely broad and deep experience. Moderately tough grading, but very fair. Read everything assigned, and you'll do very well!
