Mr. Thomas is so cool. He is a good teacher that he makes perfect sense. I made A's on all his tests and the midterm and the final. He expects you to come to class everyday and take good notes. He is awesome.

Easy going guy. Classes were pretty dry. He sits on the front desk all the time and just lectures. He is a great story teller though, which is great for history classes. :) Felt a little bit of discrimination from him. Not bad at all.

He is not a good teacher at all. He is prejudice and gets on his soapbox about things too much. His tests are easy and from the notes, but once he forgot to give my class and whole section from the notes and put it on the test and we all failed and we tried to tell him, but he didn't care. He has a tendency to forget things and repeat himself

UGH...need I say much more... as a History major I usually did alright in my history classes, but his teaching style left much to be desired and he constantly got on his soapbox...though I did have a great class when an older (retired) lady auditing the class put him in his place.

You do have to study but only your notes. Book is kind of unneeded. He also makes you do either a paper or a presentation at some point in the year. DO THE PRESENTATION! He is very critical of the papers! It could ruin your grade.

I have had Mr. Thomas for 2 semesters now & though the class is easy he isn't helpful & he is very hard to understand. He has a very thick southern accent & doesn't speak up in class, if you want to hear him sit up front. He also gets on a political soapbox & gives you his opinion on issues.
