Dr. Verb is hilarious and sooooo helpful! Attend ALL his review sessions, he tells you the questions!! Going into his class, I could have cared less about plants. Now it is my minor :) It is a pretty tough class though, but just keep on top of things and it will be fine.

Good man. Takes a subject most wouldn't find very exciting and makes it enjoyable. Holds review sessions before quizzes and tests and is easy to get ahold of. Can't wait to take him again.

Botany is a very tough class, especially if you've never taken a plant biology class before. Be prepared to study hard. Dr. Verb presents the material well, though, you still need to read the book to fully get the material. Quizzes and exams are RIDICULOUSLY hard.

HOLY CRAP! this guy is wicked awesome! i've heard so many hilarious stories from nature center trips and such. i took a general bio class with him, and never did i want to skip or sleep during his class. heck, i may even become a bio major cuz of him!
