It's a pretty difficult course but Yoder will try his best to help if you ask. Hardly if ever used the textbooks. Tests are hard but he gives a study guide with a list of topics before the test. The grading weights are set up strange so if you do well on projects and the labs but do bad on a test or two it will tank your grade.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID HIM. Test averages are in the low 60's and there are no curves. His lectures make no sense, and his labs will take you an additional hour or two outside the lab time to finish. His HW projects will take at least 5-8 hours of time to do. Very strict grader. Overall just a bad person and a horrible professor.

Dr. Bob is great! He cares about his students and is always willing to help. Even an email at 11pm gets answered right away. He's always in his office and he loves what he teaches. Labs were easy and tests were a bit challenging, but he does go over all of the topics. Easy course, easy A, great guy.

Most of kids in class arnt CS majors so the class isnt important , hes a nerd who proly checks this site to see what people think of him thats why im writing this. A very nice man. He is very approachable but I never learned anything from him. He makes little drawings on the board and I never knew whether they were important or not.I spent hours working on allowable cheat sheets for tests which did me no good!
