This was the best professor that I had at State. He made the material interesting by bringing in a lot of case studies. he was animated in class and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the subject matter.

I personally thank him for the time he took out of class to help me with a research project and Grad School, He teaches the class giving real experience examples from his practice, and he is willing to help anyone, he is a busy person and it can be hard to reach him, but if you really need his help he will be there for any of his students.

This man is a joke. I got an A in the class, but didn't learn a thing. He is never on time, his lectures are pathetic, and u will have no idea what grade you got on projects. He is scatterbrained and ego-tystical. If you want an easy A this is ur class, but if this is your major and u actually want to learn, steer clear, he should not be teaching.

Dr V. Will help u to get into Grad school if he likes you,and go in Private to his office to disscuss how to earn your A . Easy A no work. all of his classes emphasis: profanity and in-love patients. I highly recomend him to be your subject of study.He is an excellent subject to be a case study.

Dont buy the book! Very easy class, lots of videos. He gives you handouts so you dont even really need to take notes because the test questions come right off the handout. a couple of other EASY assignments. Its kind of pointless to go to class.

If you are the kind that needs organized information to be spoon feed to you like in HS, then this is not the class for you. His lessons come from real experiences, so pay attention. The therapy is mandatory, it helps you to understand counseling better. If you are willing to meet with him, he'll help you get into grad school.

Dr. V is a great teacher take him for all the psych. classes he offers. There was one easy midterm and one easy final, he gives handouts so you dont even have to buy the book and all his questions are from that 4-5 page handout. He also offers extra credit. Dr. V is very nice and very funny!

a few short papers (silly things, one actualy 2 page paper), 1 midterm, 1 final. He likes to ramble, and I felt a little out of the loop, cause he talked about his internships and his practice a lot. Gives out typed notes- that's all you need for the tests. No real need for the book unless you don't show up to the class at all.

I can honestly say that he is the worst profesor I have ever had. He gets good ratings because his class is so easy, it's a joke. Take him if you don't care about learning anything and can hanlde immaturity, profanity, and his inflated ego. Don't take him if you actually care about your education.
