Hour and 25 minute class made this class very boring. But only had to meet twice a week. She emails back promptly. Very few assignments. Lots of content. Do the easy extra credit she offers.

She knows what she is teaching, very passionate, and eager to see students in office hours. Each class starts with a quiz about assigned material to be read prior to class. A lot of reading in class:4 memoirs/books. her TA's are very tough graders in all assigned material: exams, essay and quizzes. Gives study guide with possible questions before exam

Professor Judd is super passionate & knowledgable about the subject of the Holocaust. She gives an easy, 2 point reading quiz every class so you can't miss many, but going to class isn't a problem because it's interesting. She does a great job teaching & keeping your attention. She is also very willing to meet with you outside of class. Loved her!

Professor Judd is very passionate but somewhat standoffish. She doesn't give feedback, and if she does, its most likely a rude comment about your work. The TAs do all the work. She just lectures

Professor Judd loves what she does and what she is teaching about so much. It comes through in her lectures amazingly. I don't know how anyone could not be interested by what she has to say. Doing the readings are pretty essential to doing well. Grade is based mostly on midterm, final, and short essay, so preparation is very important to success!

Professor Judd is an incredible person. HIST2475 (History of the Holocaust) was a decent amount of reading and a LOT of work to prepare for the midterms and final but she is with you the whole way. She has the most amazing ability to keep the class engaged and asking/answering questions despite the large size. 10/10

She is a nice person but when I went into office hours to get feedback on my essay outlines for the midterm I got none. Just a bunch of questions as answers and not much help. I was excited to take this class and learn more about the only topic in history that is bearable to me and was disappointed. Study guide only helps for essays on tests

I learned more in this class than I thought I would. She clearly knows her stuff. Attendance is semi-mandatory via one question quizzes. Refers to the textbook(s) throughout the course and it is usually a requirement to refer to the text in essays. She provides excellent study guides that include the prompts for exams essays -- easy A with the SG.

A clear professor that clearly knows what she's teaching, there is a heavy reliance on the textbook and you go through about a chapter per week, but it's interesting and her personality make the lectures a bit more enjoyable than most other professors I've had. TA's were good too, but they may not be the same.

Not too difficult of a class. European history isn't really an attention getter for me but professor Judd made it bearable. I went to every lecture and section, but never did the readings and got an A.

This was a very interesting class, and I love professor Judd. I usually have trouble staying focused in 2 hour classes but it is very easy to stay engaged to the subject matter and to what she's saying. She's very approachable and is very interested in teaching and helping her students. I would highly recommend this class!

Great professor. She goes attendance checks once in a while. The midterm consists of one essay question (choice from two, gives you 5 in advance to study) and multiple choice questions. The multiple choice questions are from a terms list she gives you in advance. The final is similar to the midterm with 2 essay questions and multiple choice q's.

make sure you always agree with her. always read, always participate, but do not, i repeat do not contradict her. participation is 30 percent of the final grade!! I took jewish history all through highschool(her "specialty") and loved it but i swore off jewish history for my college career(after 1 class) because of her.

For such an interesting topic, I did not like this class! It is hard to know what things are necessary to take notes on-but make sure that you record all dates & details. Make a timeline to help you keep all of the dates straight. Prepare your exam essays far in advance & go in & have her look them over so you know EXACTLY what she is looking for.

Professor Judd and her TA are very lenient graders. Discussions are stimulating. I have had no other professor who can so wonderfully generate discussion in a 90 person lecture. She is easy to talk to. She is excellent.

Quizzes, easy and no problem, just read the material on the PPT for next lecture. Term Paper, she will grade it like an ENGLISH teacher so be careful. Midterm/Final, easy, except you must be on the same mind set as professor Judd for essays!, try to understand questions on study guides, and ask her if you need clarification on essay questions

Robin acts as if her class should be your first priority and expects a lot of outside knowledge and work outside of class. This was the most boring and most frustrating GEC I have ever taken at OSU. She also grades papers like she is an English teacher, picking on every little detail.

Robin was a very thorough instructor and expected a lot of outside preparation from her students. If you didn't put work in outside of class, you definitely suffered in class.
