She is my personal hero. Being a freshman, having her as a professor truly made the transition easier and more effective. I am very lucky to have been able to learn through her. She is energetic, positive, and hysterical. As long as you put the work into your speeches, you will be able to be successful and have her support.

Robin was awesome. She is super entertaining and funny, but you still learn a lot. She really cares about her students and is willing to work with you if you need it. I am definitely a better speaker after taking her class.

Ms. Torres is an amazing person and professor. Only a midterm and final, and one 10 page paper. Lectures are interesting and the class goes by quickly. Not much homework. Just read before class. I would definitely recommend.

A truly amazing individual and professor. I've never had a professor so passionate about the subject or her students. Will go completely out of her way to help you get a better grade or just to make your day a little bit better. An absolute rarity of a person and professor. Not personally a fan of public speaking, but Professor Torres made it more enjoyable than I ever imagined it could be. She is so sweet and genuinely wants her students to succeed. Her instructions are clear, and she gives outlines of what will be on her tests. Everyone should be required to take a class with Professor Torres, she is remarkable!!

Nicest professor I've met at Marist. She's genuine and takes a real interest in every single student in her class. Class is incredibly easy. Take diligent notes in class and you will get an A. One long research paper in the end, but it is easy to write once you understand the course material. You will look forward to taking her class

Far from just a Public Presentations professor; a role model and a life teacher. Joyful, enthusiastic- everything a professor should be. There's a reason she's called the jewel of Marist College. 5 presentations, 2 tests. Always had a smile, even when times got tough. She really cared about us, and she's the best professor I've ever had.

LOVE HER. She clearly explains how to do write the 5 speeches you present in class (one being a group speech). She makes the class super easy and she makes you feel comfortable. I used to hate public speaking but this class made me love it! She really cares about making the class connected so you end up making friends in class!

Robin Torres is a wonderful woman and professor. She is very positive and wants the best for her students. The Self-Management course has A LOT of work, but it is mostly subjective, but it sometimes can be time consuming. Very easy class though if you have good study habits. Love her!

By far my favorite professor at Marist. Although the tests and the paper may seem challenging and overwhelming, studying and keeping up on the work will make it easy. This class made me remember why I majored in psych. Game changer.

She is a very nice woman, but she is all over the place in her lectures. You would expect easy tests, but they are deceivingly difficult since she does not cover everything clearly. She is biased and if you suck up to her you will certainly score higher than your performance level. I have not had a teacher of such poor quality since high school.

Professor Torres is one of the true gems at Marist College. She made me truly appreciate community pysch as a discipline. There is a 10 page paper, quizzes, and a final and a midterm (final and midterm arent easy). However it is all worth it because she is truly a great professor!!! TAKE THE CLASS!!!
