I took two drawing classes and several watercolor classes from this instructor. Appreciated her clear instruction and helpful feedback. Interesting, personable instructor, I really enjoyed all of the classes. Highly recommended.

Willing to talk about anything. Honest feedback which is why you're there. Has a different personality that makes you understand or question why you do what you do. Favorite professor at GRCC. Would take any of her classes again. Do the work, know what you're doing, listen to the critique and you'll be fine. Its school. What did you expect? Grow up

she promised that i would pass with a c- but she ended up giving me a d+ even though i talked to her and she kept my final drawing. she seems nice but is really mean and terrible at teaching she needs to switch careers or atleast to a higher art class because she expect way to much! i recommend you NEVER EVER take her class. AVOID her at ALL costs!

Intro to drawing should be a class that your not expected to know how to draw that it's your first drawing class! If you don't understand she makes you feel stupid. she teaches at to high of a level. My grade is because i signed up for online art teachers and watch YouTube video and used other students .i will NEVER take a class from her again!

I had her for Color 131 and Drawing 1. She's nice, but I do not how she has these high expectations of you, and I believe she's not a fair grader and will grade your artwork based on HER OWN personal preferences. For students who have yet to take a class with her, all I can say is don't let her get to you or stop you from doing your artwork.

College combined an elective with an art major requirement. Class was taught with the rigor of building a professional portfolio.Started out with about 22 of us and dropped like flies till we were down to about 8 students. Brutally honest, at times intimidating, and disrespectful. As hard as she was I did well and learned a lot.

I had Robin for a number of classes. I drew my fingers to the bone for her. I made it my mission to get an A in Drawing 2- I didn't make it. I don't know what you have to do to get an A, because I lived and breathed drawing- and now I just hate it... Good preparation for art school though. She speaks softly, I had to ask her to repeat things.

My experience with Robin was really good - she understands that everyone comes with different levels of experience in art, and takes that into account when she gives direction and grades. She wants to help, you just need to ask and give her respect. Ask her if you can see her art - she's got some crazy stuff! :)

Wow. Homegirl needs a personality... If you're the kind of person (like me) that likes to feel comfortable with asking questions and NOT feel stupid... dont take her. She doesn't laugh at jokes and looks at you like you're stupid. Ugh she seriously made me want to run away from GRCC....

Wow! What can I say about this teacher? Only sign up for her if you have thick skin. She expects you to know how to draw prior to starting her Drawing 1 class, which is a bit unfair. Also had the nerve to give me a ZERO grade on a drawing the SHE LOST prior to grading it (I have a 3.5+ GPA - I turned it in!) Avoid her class if possible.

I understand the need for critiqing artwork, but I felt she was a bit harsh and that she expects more than what's realistic. This was drawing 1 at a community college, not advanced art at some prestigous university. Also, if you ask for help, she'll simply start to work on your picture herself, without offering any advive.

A real witch. No, I'm serious. I saw her on her bromstick the other day across town. Some witches are good and some are bad. Robin is a very bad witch. No matter how good your art is, she will find something wrong with it. The closest she'll ever come to a compliment is: "Well.. It's not TOO bad... I guess..." Meanie.

If there’s a medical condition of perpetual PMS, this is it. Brash interpersonally, downright ruthless on critiques; in front of the class no less. Wear your thickest skin because she’s serious as a stroke & comes off cold as a corpse, albeit, a really hot one. Shouldn’t instructors enjoy teaching?

Students who are serious about art will do fine in her class. She provides good lectures, examples, and is reasonable in grading. Her classes are not for slackers, but for those with some degree of maturity and focus.
